The role of a high-pressure pump

  1. Highpressure pumps are mainly used in various buildings, subways, and highways to reinforce foundations. They can also be used for dredging pipelines through hydraulic fluid supply.

  2. Highpressure pumps can also pressurize liquids for various industries. Using a single pneumatic control allows the pump to operate automatically. The pump body is made of aluminum alloy, while other parts are made of corresponding stainless steel or carbon steel. At the same time, to ensure performance, a series of highquality products are adopted. Of course, the materials selected for use directly affect the service life of the pump.

  3. In recent years, many new types of highpressure pumps, such as plunger pumps, have been domestically produced. Because highpressure pumps have characteristics such as high pressure, long service life, and relatively compact structure, they are widely used in industries such as shipbuilding, machine tools, and steel.

  4. During operation, the motor current of a highpressure pump may be 5 to 6 times higher, which directly affects the motor on the pump and also consumes more electricity. From a practical perspective, some modifications to the motor are necessary. Although the motor is designed with a certain margin, and its speed remains constant, sometimes lower or higher operating speeds are required. Energy-saving highspeed operation can be achieved by changing the equipment through voltage regulation, providing protection against overvoltage, overload, and other phenomena, thereby enabling soft start.
